Just a short walk from Leadership: The National Museum of the American Indian

The Main Entrance of National Museum of the American Indian – The museum is an active and visible component of the Smithsonian Institution, which is the world’s largest museum complex.

South Gallery – The gallery is the spectacular ongoing exhibition – Infinity of Nations. There are more than 700 masterworks from Indigenous cultures throughout the Americas.
South Gallery – Yamana bark masks are from a group of indigenous peoples in the Southern Cone who practiced two important ceremonies for the initiation of young men and women. During the ceremonies they would wear body paint and bark masks. (I found them very cute ^^)
East Gallery – the east gallery houses photographs of the daily life of the Natives. Most of the photos are in black and white.
East Gallery – A video of photographers explaining the process of creating their photographs.
West Gallery – The journey that shows how the history of New York is intertwined with Native American culture.
