Dear Ms. Fudge,
Naturally, I will start off by saying that I appreciate you for pursuing teaching and wanting to guide the youth during an important period of their lives. I will say I appreciate your time and consideration, your kindness and patience, and your love for teaching that changes the lives of all. Your thoughtfulness and authenticity makes the school a better place and makes you as a person, a breath of fresh air. I think us both being Capricorns is the foundation of our connection but the small talk, jokes, and story-telling between one another is the heart of our connection. I will always see you as my teacher but I also see you as a friend, a mirror of my thoughts and experiences, an alternative version of me. I remember this one time I asked you why you had so many paperclips and safety pins, then I thought, she’s an art teacher?? But then you told me it’s for the clothes you repair for kids, you said you didn’t want anyone to walk around with holes in their fabrics. Your kindness is a gift and you add onto the small pleasures in life, even down to the tea you provide. I will forever be grateful for the Alice In Wonderland piece you made for me, it brings me so much joy and is a sentimental gift. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to talk to me and entertain silly ideas, or tell me random yet significant facts, and be someone I will never forget.
Warmly,
Chloe Desuze
